For the first time in 60+ years, I'm walking about without glasses or contact lenses. Second cataract/corrective eye surgery was performed yesterday. I can see clearly now. For the first time, I can see my wife (of almost 50 years) without glasses. Before, yes, I could see her clearly - from 6 inches away, the rest was a blur! I'm looking forward to seeing my kids and grandchildren. I'll still need glasses to read and for the computer/phone but to be able to walk around without glasses is a new feeling!
